Zookeeper hanging

Hello. Zookeeper is hanging for me. I’m a decent way through a design (dronebot2 in my account) and suddenly I was no longer able to get zookeeper to execute any commands. The “send” button is green when I hover over it, but there’s a “forbidden” icon replacing my cursor and further commands will not execute. I’ve tried restarting my zoo design studio, I’ve tried making sure everything is de-selected and that none of my other projects have active tasks, but no luck. There’s a green “spinning cursor” symbol in the area above the text box for prompts. My zoo studio is fully up to date (1.2.5) so I’m not sure what else to try.

What is going on here, and how do I fix it? It’s been this way for a few weeks..

Can you try a few things to help us identify the root cause of the issue?

Does Zookeeper work if you work out of a different project? If it does, then this issue could be project specific in which case it would be helpful if you could share the KCL. If you don’t want that information to be public you can open a private support request at zoo.dev/contact.

Can you test the Zookeeper connection using the web app? It is available at app.zoo.dev. If it works in the web app then it could be that your desktop is blocking the connection for some reason. Sharing a screenshot of the console with the developer tools open when the connection issue is happening will help us debug that issue further. You can open the developer tools console in the app by navigating to View → Toggle Developer Tools → Console.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve tried several projects, and the others eventually seem to settle down to a point where I can send them commands, but not the main one I care about, DroneBot2.

I duplicated the folder and created a new project, DroneBot3, and it has exactly the same problem. I use git with this project, and I rolled it back a bunch of versions to one where I know it was working and nope, same spinning green cursor and “forbidden” cursor over the send button.

Here’s what the developer console looks like in this scenario. Lots of errors.

I tried the web version and it does fine for sample projects, but I don’t know how I could load my project into it.

Karan here. Thanks for sending the project. The screenshot you sent is a bit difficult to read. Could you please try opening the project again and sending a higher-resolution screenshot? Or copy+pasting the contents of that screenshot.
